Consider Rutendo, whose father served in the liberation struggle and passed away when she was in Form Three. When CZLWVA's scholarship reached her, she went on to complete a nursing degree and today serves at a rural clinic in Matabeleland. "The scholarship gave me a chance," she says. "I want to give that back."
